“Not to be Reproduced / A nu fi reprodus” is a bilingual artist’s book investigating the contemporary mechanisms through which collective memory, propaganda, and political polarization are produced and reproduced. Conceived as the conceptual framework for several related works, the publication combines texts, photographs, 3D scans, digital renderings, and sculptural interventions into a single narrative.  

The book centers on the 3D scanning and life-sized reproduction of the commemorative bust of Octavian Goga, transforming an existing public monument into a critical sculptural object detached from its original commemorative function. Rather than reproducing history itself, the project examines the processes through which history, ideology, and collective identities are continuously reproduced.   

Designed as a deliberately bipolar object, the publication juxtaposes apparently propagandistic imagery and texts with their critical inversion, exposing the mechanisms of tribalization, algorithmic polarization, and ideological repetition. Through the relationship between the book and its accompanying sculptural works, reproduction becomes both the subject of investigation and the artistic method itself.
